The http protocol has been completely disabled in one of our test systems recently. Since then none of the BPM tasks are getting pulled into the BPM UWL inbox. On checking the BPEMUWL connector status in UWL , the connection failed with an error ( please check the attached screenshot as well)
"Error while silently connecting: org.w3c.www.protocol.http.HttpException: Connection refused (port 0 to address : <Host name>")
The BPM provider system is local to the UWL system, and thus it is automatically configured and registered onto SAP_Localsystem ,makes use of the standard BPEMUWLconnector and tries to pull the BPM tasks from the provider system. We believe this may be happening because the BPM and UWL systems communicate using the http protocol. Now since SAP_LocalSystem is a standard object, it cannot be edited or else we could have tried to change the protocol to https.
Can you guys please provide us with a solution or a workaround to this problem?
