BPM: How to change the status of the an Inactive task to Active task?

Hello Friends,

I have an issue related to BPM workflow process in CE7.2 .

One of the tasks is not visible to the user.

On checking it in the NWA --> Operations --> Manage tasks, I found that the task is in "Inactive State" and the Process is "In Progress".

I am not able to do any kind of action(Suspend or Cancel) on the task but in the process, I am able to Suspend as well as Cancel the process.

I want to know how to change the status of the an Inactive task to Active?

And what will happen if I suspend the process?

I have searched a few links but was not able to get through the correct solution.

So please champs help me out with this issue.!!
